2. The Other Black Girl
Premiering on Hulu on September 13, The Other Black Girl is based on a novel by Zakiya Dalila Harris. The show follows Nella, an editorial assistant who’s the only young Black woman at her company. This all changes, to Nella’s initial comfort, when Hazel joins the workplace—unfortunately though, Nella quickly realizes that there’s some very sinister things brewing within the company.
3. Wilderness
Premiering on Amazon Prime Video on September 15, Wilderness follows the glamorous—soon to be less than—lives of Liv and Will, a married couple living in New York. When Liv learns of Will’s affair, he tries to make amends by taking her on her dream road trip. But in a landscape where accidents happen all the time, Liv knows that it’s the perfect place to get revenge.
4. Still Up
Premiering on Apple TV+ on September 22, this eight-episode romantic comedy follows Danny and Lisa, two insomniacs whose only secrets are their feelings for each other.
5. Krapopolis
Premiering on Fox on September 24, Krapopolis is an animated series produced by Dan Harmon and set in Krapopolis during mythical ancient Greece. In this hilarious show, monsters, humans, and gods attempt to run the city while, at the same time, struggling to get along with one another.
6. The Irrational
Premiering on NBC on September 25, The Irrational follows a professor of behavioral science who solves high-stakes corporation, law enforcement, and government cases using his knowledge of people and behavior.
7. Found
Premiering on NBC on October 3, Found follows a crisis management team as they head the search for missing people, shedding light on the statistic that over 600 000 people are reported to be missing in the United States every year—over half of them people of color.
8. The Fall of the House of Usher
Premiering on Netflix on October 12, this Edgar Allan Poe based series follows the CEO of a corrupt pharmaceutical company. When his children begin to die in cruel and peculiar ways, he’s forced to face his controversial past.
9. Lessons in Chemistry
Premiering on Apple TV+ on October 13, Lessons in Chemistry—based on a book by Bonnie Garmus—takes place in the 1960s. This show follows a female scientist that hosts a cooking TV show to provide housewives with scientific lessons.
10. A Murder at the End of the World
Premiering on FX—streamed on Hulu—on November 14, A Murder at the End of the World is a mystery series following a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker alongside 8 other guests participating in a remote location retreat. Invited there by a secluded billionaire, the death of a guest puts skills to the ultimate test.
